SugarDVD Hires VP of Business Development, Grows Digital Delivery - July 2008
SugarDVD has added Tony Medrano to its senior management team in the role of Vice President of Business Development and Sales.

Medrano has spent the majority of his career in the mainstream Software-as-a-Service, Internet and Hosting Industries. The last 10 years he has served at the General Manager, Vice President or Founder level of software and Internet companies in both Silicon Valley and Southern California. He has been a key member of executive teams that have raised over $100M in Venture Capital. Tony has a BA from Harvard, and an MBA from Stanford University.

SugarCash hires new sales manager - June 2008
Only three weeks after launching its Automated Store Builder system SugarCash has taken 175 new stores live! SugarCash has brought in experienced sales person Dani Apgar to lead this effort. Dani came from the mainstream industry where she ran successful sales programs for many years. SugarVOD and SugarDVD add 100 more studios for VOD! - April 2008
SugarVOD.com and SugarDVD.com continued to add to an impressive roster of new studios for their video-on-demand service in the months of March and April. "I am sure with my movies and the lines that I represent, we will be very successful," said Riccardo Santini of Bordellonoir, and broker to several more studios.

In March and April, Sugar signed up over 100 new studios to stream their movies on both SugarDVD.com and SugarVOD.com. Among the newest batch of studios are Doghouse Digital, The Candy Shop, Mr. X, Hot Body International, and Ducati Productions. To date Sugar has contracts for over 55,000 movies signed up for its VOD services.
